EQUININE High Performance Physiotherapy has moved to the prestigious Cape, and on that note, has rebranded too.

EQUININE High Performance Physiotherapy started out back in 2017 as 'Pure Dynamic', and has since rebranded to incorporate the growth and expertise gained within the various sporting arena's involving equines across South Africa.
Within the Equine arena, we've been involved within the endurance, racing and sporting horse communities in particular.
Other than Equines, we continue with our work on fellow Canine friends too, mostly privately for our client's beloved pets.

EQUININE High Performance Physiotherapy offers services of assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal and/or Neurological conditions in animals, with a specific focus on Equines and Canines.
Veterinary Physiotherapy combines movement analysis with knowledge of the anatomy and neuromuscular system of the animal in order to identify and treat problems accordingly. Typical problems include:
Musculoskeletal injuries
Neuromuscular disorders
Pre and Post operative Rehabilitation
Degenerative conditions such as arthritis - ease pain in arthritic and diseased joints and slow down further degeneration
Muscle spasms, strains, tightness and muscle atrophy
Ruptured tendons and ligaments
Sacroiliac injury
Cruciate ligament rupture
Optimise repair of fractures
Improving and maintaining range of movement and muscle tone
Our methods include massage, taping, soft tissue and joint mobilization and manipulation, myofascial release and trigger point release.
Laser, Equissage (cycloid vibration therapy), Magnetotherapy and Electrical Muscle Stimulation are used together with manual therapy.
Many animals require specific exercises to complete their rehabilitation, therefore an appropriate exercise program will be drawn up where needed. As a Veterinary Physiotherapist, advice will also be given on adaptations to your animals' environment that will help them perform tasks more easily. This can be especially helpful for older animals or for those who have recently had surgery.
